About Sakhi
Sakhi Foundation is a not-for-profit platform focused on empowering women from underprivileged communities by partnering with motivated individuals and NGOs. We have three initiatives currently:

Sakhi Scholars
Sakhi Scholars aims to be the world’s largest donor platform to support the education of girl children. Our aim is to support 10,000 girl students across India by 2025. We will ensure that all these girls receive full financial support for their education till college. Apart from financial support, Sakhi offers continuous mentoring and counseling to our scholars. We will be their friend and guide and help them develop into confident empowered women.
Our dream is to assist them to achieve their dreams and come out of the cycle of poverty. Once they are educated and empowered, their subsequent generations need not face the harsh realities of abject poverty in our country.

Sakhi Scholars
Sakhi Young Leadership Programme
We believe that real change can be achieved only if we have adequate representation in leadership positions. Unfortunately, women from underprivileged communities are hardly represented at the leadership level. The Young Leaders Programme hopes to change that by empowering talented young girls to develop critical leadership skills.
We do this through an annual three week residential programme during summer break followed by involved mentorship over the academic year. At the summer camp the students are given exposure to a gamut of activities, experiences and inspiring women leaders, that opens their minds to a whole new world of possibilities. Lot of emphasis is laid on individual growth and development through mentorship and regular feedback.
Sakhi Partners - Sakhi Task Force
We believe in the power of collaboration and learning from each other. Sakhi Task Force is a platform to bring together NGOs and changemakers in the woman empowerment space to support and learn from each other. Sakhi Foundation acts as a funding and mentorship partner for these partnering NGOs and help them scale their impact through funding and leadership development. We also equip our partners with the latest technology and other tools that can help them improve their on-the-ground effectiveness and efficiency.
Sakhi Task Force will form the core of Sakhi Foundation. Our vision is to create local changemakers and support them extensively to achieve desired outcomes at the ground level. We encourage NGOs working in the women empowerment space to register with Sakhi Foundation as partners.
